The Town of Seneca is seeking qualified applicants for full-
time Road Patrolman
position.
Applicant must be 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and
possess a valid CDL or ability to obtain a CDL. Candidates must be able to report to
work on a daily and timely basis. Knowledge of highway road and maintenance
preferred. Wage based on experience. Pre-placement drug & alcohol testing required.

2026 TOWN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The Town of Seneca will receive sealed bids for the above Town Road Improvement Project at the Town Hall located at 21041 Town Hall Road, Seneca, Wisconsin, 54654 until 7:30 p.m. local time, Wednesday, June 10th, 2026.
The Town is requesting proposals for a double chip seal over gravel on Zintz Road, from Halls Branch Road to Seneca Township Line, totaling 3,611 feet in length at 20 foot width. Contractor to use 3/8” limestone chips for 1stlift, and 3/8” quartz/granite chips for 2nd lift. Proposals are to be total lump sum cost, and shall include watering, and compaction rolling.
Bidders may contact Town Chairman Tom Kearns at (608) 306-2537. Mailed bids may be sent, but must be received by June 10th, to Tom Kearns, 21542 Thistle Lane, Gays Mills, WI 54631. Bidders may also hand deliver their bids prior to the Town Board meeting on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026.
No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Town for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time for receiving bids. Lowest responsible bidder shall provide proof of insurance and be responsible for all required items needed to complete the project.
The Town reserves the right to change these specifications without notice and without incurring any obligation relating to such change that may be more advantageous to the Town and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to accept the bid that is most advantageous to the Town.

Summer Help
The Town of Seneca is seeking part-time summer help, approximately 20 hours/week
from late May to the end of August 2026.
Duties include, but not limited to:
* Lawn Mowing
* Painting
* Street Cleaning
Applicant must be a resident of the Town of Seneca and must have valid drivers license.

Poll workers conduct assigned duties at a polling site on Election Day. Duties can include issuing ballots to registered voters, registering voters, monitoring the voting equipment, explaining how to mark the ballot or use the voting equipment.
Polling places are open statewide from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Poll workers can work a full day or half day as the Town of Seneca allows split shifts. Poll workers are compensated for working at polling place and are also provided lunch/supper.
Qualifications to be a poll worker include:
· Be a qualified elector of Crawford County
· Be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
· NOT be a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election.
